Navigate over sea grass forests and a sanctuary for seahorses, culminating in the renowned chalk stacks.

Opt for the 2.5km challenge to Old Harry, followed by a thrilling boat journey back to shore, or take on the challenge of the full 5km return event.

Our commitment to a light ecological footprint means a single registration tent, one convenient bag drop, no onsite sales, and minimal buoy placements—preserving the delicate seagrass ecosystem.

Swim in one wave from Knoll Beach to Old Harry Rocks and back in this unique race.

The 2.5km Old Harry Swim Challenge

Swim in waves from Knoll Beach, Studland to Old Harry Rocks in this unique event.

 

Once you arrive at the infamous rocks you'll be power boated back to shore.

​

Wetsuits optional | In water start | Gun timed

 

Receive a sew on badge and swim cap upon completion.

 

2 hour cut off | Tidal assisted | 21 September 2024 | Back up 22 September 2024 | Waves between 12:00 -15:00

Guided swims

If you want to explore the rocks themselves, join this guided swim/ scramble around the caves and rapids. This event includes a return powerboat ride to the rocks. You'll need a wetsuit (or shorts and t-shirt) and footwear that you can wear in the water as the rocks can be sharp in places.

The Isle of Purbeck is notoriously difficult to book accomodation for, we've made this simple by booking a whole house and a whole campsite, with both pre-pitched tents and open pitches available.
